WASHINGTON, DC – Representatives Donald Norcross (D-NJ), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Stephanie Murphy (D-FL), Tom MacArthur (R-NJ) and Ann McLane Kuster (D-NH) introduced the Road to Recovery Act - bipartisan legislation eliminating the Medicaid Institutions for Mental Diseases (IMD) exclusion for substance use disorder and help states expand access to inpatient treatment for its enrollees.

Letter asks Treasury Secretary Mnuchin to preserve state and local tax deduction in tax reform plan
U.S. Congressmen Donald Norcross, Frank LoBiondo and Tom MacArthur sent a bipartisan letter with 67 of their colleagues to Secretary of Treasury Steve Mnuchin protesting the Administration’s plan to eliminate the federal deduction for state and local taxes. The elimination of this deduction would be especially detrimental to high-tax states like New Jersey, California, New York and Illinois.
