WASHINGTON — Today, U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ranking Member of the Senate Armed Services Subcommittee on Personnel, and Representative Donald Norcross (D-N.J.), Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Committee’s Tactical Air and Land Forces Subcommittee, pressed Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth on his decision to cut the Pentagon’s independent weapons testing office budget by nearly 80% and staff by 74%, and urged him to reverse the cuts to ensure the military’s weapons systems are effective for combat use and safe for troops.

WASHINGTON — Congressmen Donald Norcross (NJ-01), Mike Lawler (NY-17), and Paul Tonko (NY-20) today introduced the bipartisan Modernizing Opioid Treatment Access Act 2.0 (MOTAA 2.0). The bill, which has been endorsed by more than 50 healthcare and recovery organizations, would establish a safe process for individuals suffering from opioid use disorder (OUD) to access methadone through their local pharmacy.

Norcross delivered $500,000 in federal funding for the restoration effort - the catalyst for additional outside funding totaling $4 million.

WASHINGTON - Today the U.S. House of Representatives passed Congressman Donald Norcross' (NJ-01) Faster Labor Contracts Act (FLCA) in a bipartisan 230-193 vote. The bill, which would be the single biggest advancement in workers' rights in nearly a century, came to the floor after Norcross successfully forced a vote over the objections of House Republican leadership.
