Camden-based nonprofit receives $30 million grant

...On Dec. 13, Norcross, along with senators Cory Booker and Robert Menendez, announced a $13 million Choice Neighborhoods Initiative grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to mix public housing with mixed-income homes and facilitate public and private investment in local schools, public safety initiatives and business development.
..."This is a game-changer for students in Camden. This federal grant is a significant achievement for the local partnership working together every day to make Camden's future brighter," said Norcross, a Camden resident.
