Christie signs legislation mandating in-state tuition for all veterans

...Rep. Donald Norcross, D-1st of Camden, was the original author of the measure when he was a state senator. In a statement, the congressman said it was intended to pay respect to veterans and their families and help them in their post-military careers.

..."Nobody who wore the uniform of our nation's armed forces should be denied a world-class education in New Jersey because they cannot afford the out-of-state price tag," Norcross said. "This new law is not only a show of support and appreciation for America's veterans -- it will help countless vets and their families get the tools their need to join the workforce and grow our economy."
