Cooper University Health Care, U.S. Army Agree to Trauma Training Partnership

...Cooper University Health Care recently entered into an agreement with the United States Army to provide advanced surgical trauma training to the Army's Elite Forward Resuscitation Surgical Team.

...Officials say this agreement will help better prepare the military health system to treat trauma cases in combat zones and, ultimately, help save lives.

..."At the end of the day, it's about people," said 1st District Representative Donald Norcross. "It's about our soldiers, our military. It's the difference from a soldier coming home to see his family and the elusive knock at the door that one didn't make it. It's because what you're doing today is going to prevent deaths. That at the end of the day is what's so important."
