...All three of Burlington County's representatives — Tom MacArthur, R-3rd of Toms River; Frank LoBiondo, R-2nd of Ventnor; and Donald Norcross, D-1st of Camden — voted for the legislation, saying it would provide increased support for service members and their families and give them the tools and resources to defend the country and its allies.

..."We live in an uncertain world where there are serious threats to our country and our democracy, and today Congress acted to support our service members and equip them with the resources needed to keep America safe," Norcross said Tuesday. "I fought to include provisions that safeguard New Jersey's joint base, which is strategically critical to our national security and to New Jersey's economy. Thankfully, the bill has no (Base Realignment and Closure) cuts, it authorizes two more KC-46s, and advances construction of hangars for the new tankers. So I feel optimistic about the future of our bases."
