Norcross bucks Obama: N.J. Rep. sides with unions against president on free trade

...U.S. Rep. Donald Norcross hasn't been in Washington that long, but he hasn't been shy about taking on fellow Democrat President Obama on issues pushed by organized labor. Norcross, who has been representing South Jersey's 1st District since right after his election in November, is opposing Obama's call for free trade agreements with Asia and Europe.

..."Obviously we have great respect for the president but on this issue, the people of my district are more interested in jobs than trade agreements," Norcross said in a recent interview after speaking at a Capitol Hill press conference. "This would just add to the devastation of workers in this country."
