Norcross pitches plan for seniors

...Rep. Donald Norcross, D-NJ, pitched a legislative proposal Thursday to boost monthly Social Security benefits and limit Medicare premium increases.
...Norcross called it a simple two-part plan, devised in response to older constituents' complaints. He plans to introduce the legislation when the U.S. House of Representatives reconvenes next month.
..."This is the third time since 2011 that there is no (COLA) increase," Norcross told the Courier-Post. "You ask any senior whether or not the cost of living is going up. Everyone knows that it has. We must do better."
