The battle continues for homeless vets

...Late last month, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs announced $12.8 million more in funding to go to 20 community agencies nationwide to help homeless veterans, including $395,295 for the Volunteers of America's Delaware Valley chapter's transitional housing program.
...U.S. Rep. Donald Norcross, D-1st of Camden, last week touted the decision to provide the funding.
..."No veteran should ever be homeless," Norcross said. "Sadly, there are far too many of our American heroes who don't have a place to call home. I'm hopeful this funding will help veterans transition to more stable housing. They fought and served honorably for our country. The least we can do is work to ensure they receive the care they deserve."
