Rep. Donald Norcross repeats call for minimum wage hike ahead of Trump's State of the Union

Rep. Donald Norcross says President Trump can crow all he wants about the stock market's rise and the $1,000 bonus checks that some large corporations are awarding front-line employees in anticipation of significant savings from the new tax reform law...

..."There are 152 million workers in this country. Fiving a few $1,000 paychecks out is not helping the American worker," Norcross said...

...he hass made advocating for a $15 minimum wage his top priority in Congress. And while he didn't expect Trump to propose such an increase on Tuesdau night, Norcross said he still hoped to use tge occassion of the annual address to draw attention to the issue.
