Camden, NJ-Rep. Donald Norcross (NJ-01) today announced his appreciation to the Camden Historic Preservation Commission for its historic designation of a Camden City property that was once home to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., while King studied at the former Crozer Theological Seminary in Upland, Pennsylvania in the 1950s.

Deptford, NJ-Rep. Donald Norcross (NJ-01) today attended the dedication ceremony of the U.S. Post Office in Deptford, New Jersey, in honor of late Army 1st Lt. Salvatore S. Corma II of Deptford Township, who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2010. The ceremony caps off a year-long legislative effort by Norcross to rename the facility in Corma's memory.

...Norcross had previously petitioned the state to secure a historical designation for the home. The house was identified as King's residence in the 1950s by a local historian Patrick Duff.
