BLACKWOOD, NJ – Congressmen Donald Norcross (NJ-01) joined New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy today to announce $14 million in additional Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding to develop workforce development programs. The programs are designed to help businesses impacted by COVID-19 replenish their workforce and help jobless residents learn new skills that lead to successful reemployment.

In writing to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Robert R. Redfield, the Democratic Members of the House of Representatives from New Jersey requested that the agency take every step necessary to ensure that federal, state, and local governments work together to effectively administer a COVID-19 vaccine.

EVESHAM, NJ – Congressmen Donald Norcross (NJ-01) and Andy Kim (NJ-03) joined Governor Phil Murphy today to announce $60 million from the Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) for the Local Government Emergency Fund to aid counties and municipalities that were excluded from the federal government's direct CRF allocation plan. The COVID-19 crisis has severely impacted county and local governments in New Jersey and they are facing increased costs in health benefits, health and human services, public safety, overtime, equipment and supply expenditures.

PARSIPPANY, NJ - Representatives Donald Norcross (NJ-01) and Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11), members of the House Armed Services Committee, visited Picatinny Arsenal on Tuesday. They received a briefing from Brigadier General Vincent Malone, Commanding General, Picatinny Arsenal and Program Executive Officer, Armaments and Ammunition. Along with the briefing, they toured the new munitions disassembly complex site that broke ground in March 2020 and the facility for the Extended Range Cannon Artillery, which is in development at Picatinny, and met with Arsenal workforce leaders.
