CHERRY HILL, NJ – Today, U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) joined the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Senator Cory Booker (NJ-D) in announcing that the Camden Redevelopment Agency will receive $300,000 in funding for brownfields clean-up projects in Camden, with the intention of redeveloping vacant and abandoned properties and turning them into community assets such as housing, recreation and open space, health facilities, social services and commerce opportunities.

WASHINGTON, DC - U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) announced that Katherine Li of Cherry Hill East has won the 2020 Congressional Art Competition for New Jersey's First Congressional District.

Katherine, a rising sophomore at Cherry Hill High School East, titled her winning paining "The Family's Honor." The painting depicts a young man saluting beside his veteran grandfather, who holds a folded flag in commemoration of his son's sacrifice for the country. The painting will hang in the U.S. Capitol.

CHERRY HILL, NJ – U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) announced today that the U.S. Department of Agriculture will allow households in 13 new states, including New Jersey, the ability to order groceries online with their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. Beginning next week, New Jerseyans on SNAP will be able to shop for groceries online from Amazon starting May 27 and participating Walmarts, ShopRites and The Fresh Grocers starting on May 28.

CHERRY HILL, NJ – U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) today announced that five local Public Housing Agencies (PHA) will receive $628,476 in funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) CARES Act Admin Fee Regular and Mainstream Voucher Program, which was allocated through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, legislation passed by Congress in late March.

CHERRY HILL, NJ – U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) today announced $2,082,226 in federal funding for South Jersey as part of a total of $11,127,936 for the state of New Jersey from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to expand COVID-19 testing at Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) across the state. FQHCs are trusted providers for many in lower-income communities who need access to health care services.
