WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) – a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 351 – voted yes today to pass the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act, in which he is an original co-sponsor. The PRO Act, which was introduced by Chairman Bobby Scott (VA-03) of the House Committee on Education and Labor, is the most significant upgrade to U.S. labor law in 80 years and is a direct response to the struggle that many hardworking families are facing. The PRO Act passed the House with bipartisan support.
WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) announced $60,000 in grant funding for Rutgers University-Camden from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) for a project titled "Latinos, the Civil Rights Movement, and the Making of Multiracial America After the 1960s." The grant is one of five grants New Jersey received from NEH for a total of $990,000 in funding.

Most in New Jersey's congressional delegation temporarily tempered their criticism of President Donald Trump and offered support for U.S. troops apparently targeted by Iran in a missile attack by Iran on Tuesday night.
The Iranians fired a total of 15 missiles, two U.S. officials said. Ten hit Ain al-Asad and one the base in Irbil. Four failed, said the officials, who were not authorized to speak publicly about a military operation.
