New Jersey Democrats Donald Norcross and Andy Kim were tapped to join a conference of lawmakers from the U.S. House and Senate that will seek to negotiate a new defense policy bill.
The negotiations are needed because the House and Senate approved different versions of this year's National Defense Authorization Act, a massive defense bill that sets spending and policy for the military for the upcoming 2020 fiscal year.
