Access to high-quality health care is a fundamental right and is critical to our prosperity as a nation. Our current health care system focuses largely on treating symptoms, not prevention or finding cures, so our priority should be funding cutting-edge research. Social Security and Medicare are critical safety net programs that serve our nation’s most vulnerable, so we need to ensure their benefits meet the needs of American seniors by accurately reflecting their cost of living.
Additionally, we need to support initiatives that increase investment for great scientific breakthroughs. Over the past hundred years, scientists have made great strides in combatting deadly diseases such as polio and measles, both of which have been virtually eliminated in the United States. We must continue to fund these life-saving advances in medical science.

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) voted yes today to pass the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Enhancement Act – legislation that builds on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) to lower health costs and prescription drug prices. CHERRY HILL, NJ – U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) today announced $2,082,226 in federal funding for South Jersey as part of a total of $11,127,936 for the state of New Jersey from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to expand COVID-19 testing at Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) across the state. FQHCs are trusted providers for many in lower-income communities who need access to health care services.
CHERRY HILL, NJ – U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) today announced that Acenda Integrated Health, located in Glassboro, will receive approximately $3,352,000 in federal funding over the course of two years from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for a Mental Health & Substance Abuse Service Grant.
