We must do everything we can to ensure service members, veterans, and their families are cared for in return for their service to our country. Proper defense budgeting ensures our soldiers are best equipped to get the job done. Maintaining the readiness of our military also ensures our national defense. Supporting South Jersey’s Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst not only supports our national security needs, but it also employs 44,000 civilians and military personnel.
I also have a personal commitment to the unbreakable bond between the United States and Israel, our closest ally in the Middle East and the region’s only democracy. I am proud to serve on the Armed Services Committee to ensure our military, allies, and strategic partners can meet domestic and security threats to our shared democratic values.

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) sent a letter today to Attorney General William Barr asking that the Department of Justice take aggressive action to protect American consumers from price gouging during the COVID-19 pandemic. While some retailers have taken steps to maintain access to items such as hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies, there has been an increase in reports of merchants over charging customers for these essential items.

"With the Major Disaster Declaration, New Jersey is now eligible for additional federal resources and support to combat the coronavirus outbreak and help our residents," said Congressman Norcross.
