...On Friday, Congressman Donald Norcross announced that Rowan University's Collaborative Research: Experiential Process Safety Training for Chemical Engineers, a program that integrates computer-based simulations of digital environments to allow students to experience safety challenges first-hand, will be receiving a $203,321 federal grant.

Trumpcare would be devastating to American workers. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office has confirmed that 23 million fewer people will have health insurance, including three million who will lose access to a job-based plan. Forty-thousand people in my district alone could lose their health insurance. We should be working together to grow the economy and create jobs, not take away health insurance from working families who need it.

There's a push among three local members of Congress to get their states on board with sharing information on what prescriptions doctors are writing for highly addictive opioids.

The Tri-State is part of a program that allows doctors to check for similar prescriptions their patients might be getting from other physicians.

The issue?

New Jersey only shares with Delaware and neither shares with Pennsylvania.

A South Jersey congressman spent the past week in Germany, quietly getting an up close and personal chance to learn about Russia's political system from many of those who run it.

Don Norcross was one of 14 congressional members who participated in a forum sponsored by the Aspen Institute, which calls itself "an educational and policy studies organization" based in Washington.

They got a chance to meet some of their counterparts in Russia's Federal Assembly and selected members of Vladimir Putin's administration.

...Norcross suggests it is way too easy for addicts to play the current system.

..."They could pick up a prescription here in New Jersey to go across the bridge and do it immediately again," Norcross told KYW Newsradio. "It's that prescription shopping that's going on and this program will prevent that from happening."
