Americans are struggling, and the coronavirus has shed a new light on an issue we have known exists for far too long: workers are underpaid. Many of our essential workers who put their lives on the line each day are earning a wage they cannot live on. The federal minimum wage hasn't been raised in 12 years, the longest stretch in U.S. history! It's unacceptable, which is why we must act now to raise the wage.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) applauded the passage of the bipartisan National Apprenticeship Act of 2021 (H.R. 447) through the House of Representatives. The legislation invests more than $3.5 billion to create nearly one million new Registered Apprenticeship, youth apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship positions over the next five years. Norcross is a lead sponsor and author of the bill along with House Education and Labor Committee Chairman Bobby Scott (VA-03).

CAMDEN, NJ – U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) announced today that a federally-qualified community health center in South Jersey will receive a grant of $133,440 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
