Internships
Washington DC
My D.C. office is currently seeking motivated, detail-oriented, and energetic candidates for Spring 2024 Internships! These internships run throughout the fall, spring or summer semesters for college students. The hours are flexible to accommodate students' hectic course schedules, but generally run 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. My office’s internship program includes a stipend.
In Washington, interns' responsibilities include but are not limited to: maintaining active constituent correspondence, attending legislative briefings, drafting letters on a variety of issues, greeting constituents and visitors, tracking media coverage, assisting staff with research and special projects, and performing other administrative duties when assigned. As a result, interns learn about the legislative process and the many other functions of a congressional office.
