Internships
Washington DC
My D.C. office is currently seeking motivated, detail-oriented, and energetic candidates for a Summer Internship 2023! These internships run throughout the fall, spring or summer semesters for college students. The hours are flexible to accommodate students' hectic course schedules, but generally run 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. My office’s internship program includes a stipend.
In Washington, interns' responsibilities include but are not limited to: maintaining active constituent correspondence, attending legislative briefings, drafting letters on a variety of issues, greeting constituents and visitors, tracking media coverage, assisting staff with research and special projects, and performing other administrative duties when assigned. As a result, interns learn about the legislative process and the many other functions of a congressional office.
To apply for an internship in the Office of Congressman Norcross, please email the following application materials attached as one combined PDF to carly.mcintyre@mail.house.gov with “DC Summer Internship: Last Name” in the subject line.
