We must do everything we can to ensure service members, veterans, and their families are cared for in return for their service to our country. Proper defense budgeting ensures our soldiers are best equipped to get the job done. Maintaining the readiness of our military also ensures our national defense. Supporting South Jersey’s Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst not only supports our national security needs, but it also employs 44,000 civilians and military personnel.
I also have a personal commitment to the unbreakable bond between the United States and Israel, our closest ally in the Middle East and the region’s only democracy. I am proud to serve on the Armed Services Committee to ensure our military, allies, and strategic partners can meet domestic and security threats to our shared democratic values.

BLACKWOOD, NJ. –On Thursday, Congressman Donald Norcross joined with South Jersey high school students and their families to announce and congratulate the region's 2017 military service academy nominees.
Students wishing to attend one of the nation's four military service academy must receive a nomination from his or her representative, senator or the vice president. This year, 28 students were selected by a committee of community leaders to receive nominations to the Air Force Academy, Military Academy at West Point, Merchant Marine Academy and the Naval Academy.

CAMDEN, N.J. – After receiving a classified briefing and reviewing the classified report on Russian hacking of the 2016 election, Congressman Norcross released the following statement:
"Yesterday, I attended a classified briefing on the intelligence report titled Assessing Russian Activities and Intentions in Recent U.S. Elections. The report was presented to members of Congress by National Intelligence Director James Clapper, FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, and NSA Director Admiral Michael Rogers.
Washington, D.C. –Today, the United States Air Force announced a fleet of new Boeing KC-46 air-refueling tanker planes will be based at New Jersey's Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst. The major news follows years of work by Congressman Norcross to bring the fleet to the state.
