...A bipartisan group of 157 House members, including 11 from New Jersey, asked President Donald Trump's administration to take steps to address a rash of bomb threats directed at Jewish community centers.

..."There's no place for anti-Semitism in our community or our country," Norcross said. "These threats don't just run counter to our values, they cause great emotional stress and harm to our communities."

Ignoring or denying the facts, or even dismissing their importance, is a serious mistake. We must work together, fully investigate what happened, bring the truth to light, and respond as Americans in defense of the values and freedoms we all hold dear."

...Donald Norcross (NJ-01) has been appointed to serve on the House Committee on Education and the Workforce. A lifelong union member himself, Norcross requested to serve on the committee to represent New Jersey labor and working families. Norcross is expected to be the only member of New Jersey's congressional delegation to serve on the committee.

...Norcross had previously petitioned the state to secure a historical designation for the home. The house was identified as King's residence in the 1950s by a local historian Patrick Duff.
