McGuire Labor Day Landmark Act that designates the Peter J. McGuire Memorial and Gravesite located in Pennsauken, New Jersey, as a National Historic Landmark.

CHERRY HILL, NJ – Today, U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, issued the following statement on the passing of Electronics Technician 3rd Class Kenneth Smith – age 22 of Cherry Hill, New Jersey – who was one of the sailors on the U.S. Navy destroyer USS John S. McCain when it collided with an oil tanker this week:

CHERRY HILL, NJ – Today, U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) announced that Rowan University's School of Osteopathic Medicine (SOM) has been awarded a $304,510 federal grant by the Department of Health and Human Services Administration (HHS) to provide assistance to an Area Health and Education Center (AHEC) in Camden. The grant will allow hundreds of New Jersey students to properly train for primary care careers in rural and underserved areas.

"Hate, violence, bigotry, racism and anti-semitism have no place in our country.

"White supremacists caused this violence -- it isn't a situation that has 'many sides' -- and it must be loudly condemned as such. We must never accept violence and hatred in our communities.
