“Tonight, President Biden laid out a vision for America that puts working families front and center, focuses on creating good-paying jobs, prioritizes upholding workers’ rights and ensures our economy continues to strengthen. The president also emphasized the importance of working to defend the fundamental rights of Americans, including reproductive freedoms. With reproductive rights under attack across the country, most recently with the Alabama Supreme Court’s extreme ruling on IVF, I share President Biden’s commitment to protecting access to essential reproductive health care and a woman’s right to choose.

“I also applaud the President for reaffirming America’s commitment to supporting democracy around the world and calling on Congress to deliver critical aid to our allies and partners who continue to stand against tyranny and terrorism. With democracy under threat at home and abroad, the President continues to meet the urgency of the moment and deliver for the American people.

“I’m proud to be working alongside President Biden and Democrats in Congress as we continue to lower costs for families, grow the middle class and put people over politics to deliver for South Jersey and the American people.”
