“Tariffs are an important tool in combatting unfair trade practices and, when implemented strategically, protect American workers and businesses.

"President Trump’s decision to impose tariffs on all imported goods threatens American jobs, raises prices for consumers, and undermines our economic relationships with our allies.    

“In South Jersey, companies like Campbells, Kellogg, and Subaru could be negatively impacted by these tariffs, forcing them to raise prices to address new costs and hurting consumers. Although tariffs have a place in our nation’s economic playbook, they only work if they are implemented strategically.”
