The American Rescue Plan builds on the previous relief packages passed by Congress and provides $15 billion in Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) grants, expands Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) eligibility and provides an additional $7.25 billion in funding, includes $28.6 billion to revitalize restaurants, food, and beverage establishments and provides additional resources to help small and disadvantaged businesses navigate and access COVID relief programs

2020 CARES Act information:
The CARES Act provided more than $375 billion in Small Business relief, including $349 billion for low-interest and forgivable loans; $17 billion for debt relief for current and new SBA borrowers; and $10 billion in disaster grants.
