Press Releases

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) issued the following statement on the Senate Republican’s latest Trumpcare plan:

“Republicans are once again trying to appease the extremists in their party and give billionaires a tax break, while taking healthcare away from millions of Americans.

“They’re trying to sell this as an improved strategy, but it’s more of the same. The plan still drastically reduces essential and preventative care for millions of families. It still turns its back on our children, women and seniors – and it doesn’t come close to adequately addressing the needs of our neighbors struggling with the disease of addiction.

“The tweaks are not solutions and I urge my colleagues on the other side of the aisle to finally start working with Democrats on improving – rather than eroding – access to healthcare for Americans.”
