...Norcross, who has advocated for stronger gun control during his two terms in the U.S House, said he wanted to host a conversation about the issue before returning to Congress to continue pressing for safety improvements.

..."No system is foolproof, but I think there's enough common ground so we can all start to make change," Norcross said about improving background checks to make them more comprehensive and required for all gun sales.

The Child Care for Working Families Act offers a comprehensive set of initiatives to make child care affordable and flexible nationwide. If this bill passed, parents would be able to choose what works best for their family – whether it's center-based care, home-based care, or provided by family and friends.

..."Rowan University's program allows building trades members to receive an affordable bachelor's degree in the construction field, and NABTU is making Rowan's program even more affordable for our local students," said Rep. Norcross.

...Norcross and Sweeney, who both enjoyed trade union careers before entering politics, praised NABTU for funding the new scholarship program, which is designed to cover $7,200 in Rowan tuition for one member of each of the 14 trade unions NABTU represents.

...Norcross announced that several communities in South Jersey will receive more than $12 million in federal grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), to provide affordable housing and assistance services to low-income residents.

...Norcross says everyone deserves an affordable, safe place to call home and that these grants will help provide that for residents in need while helping to transform South Jersey neighborhoods for the better.
