On the afternoon of Wednesday, February 28th, at Highland Regional High School, Norcross sat down with students, school administrators, chiefs of police, and community leaders from Gloucester and Washington townships to talk about gun violence and gun safety.

...Norcross stated "Simply offering thoughts and prayers after each tragic mass shooting – then doing nothing – means nothing and Americans know it. We need to have open conversations about gun violence in our communities and resolve to take action."

Donald Norcross (D-1), vice chair of the Congressional Bipartisan Heroin Task Force, said. "Camden County, led by Freeholder Director Cappelli, has been fighting to curb the opioid epidemic on all fronts and knows we must do all we can to help those struggling with the disease of addiction. There is true human cost that's at stake."

A Democratic Congressman and a Republican Congressman from South Jersey have joined the Congressional Civility and Respect Caucus. Representatives Tom MacArthur (R-3) and Donald Norcross (D-1) have joined the caucus, which is an informal group of Representatives dedicated to advancing the need for civil debate and respect for different opinions and beliefs, the congressmen announced this week.
