Congressman Norcross Travels to the Middle East
November 21, 2015
Washington, DC-One week after the deadly terror attacks in Paris, Rep. Donald Norcross (NJ-01) has traveled to the Middle East to examine efforts to stop terrorist activities.
Rep. Norcross is visiting three Middle East countries with a bipartisan delegation of Congressional members of the House Armed Services Committee, of which Norcross is a member.
Among the work Rep. Norcross and the delegation will be doing is learning about counter-terrorism initiatives in the region.
“We live in an uncertain world and must be prepared to stop extremists intent on harming others. Paris is just the latest example of our ongoing need to be vigilant, and as Americans, we know that terror can strike abroad and at home. I’m here to stand strong with our allies and thank the troops who protect us from this violence. Together, we will fight back against the evil and injustice of terrorism, and we will win,” said Rep. Norcross.
Because of security concerns, additional details about Rep. Norcross’ travel are not available.
Congressman Donald Norcross is a member of the House Armed Services Committee and the House Budget Committee, and serves as an Assistant Whip in the 114th Congress.
