Glassboro, NJ-Rep. Donald Norcross (NJ-01) issued the following statement on today’s $25 million gift to the Rowan University Fossil Park in Mantua Township, New Jersey:

“Today’s generous gift from Rowan alumni Jean and Ric Edelman to the University’s Fossil Park will help this and future generations uncover the prehistoric treasures literally under our feet. We’ve barely scratched the surface of what is an exciting, ongoing opportunity for us to dig, discover, explore and expand our knowledge of dinosaurs dating back millions of years. Not only will this site be preserved, it’ll continue to be a destination for amateur and professional fossil hunters who will use this as a place to learn and connect us to our ancient past,” said Rep. Donald Norcross (NJ-01).

The donation represents the largest alumni gift to Rowan University and second largest gift to the University in its history.
