Congressman Norcross Announces Service Academy Nominations
January 27, 2017
BLACKWOOD, NJ. –On Thursday, Congressman Donald Norcross joined with South Jersey high school students and their families to announce and congratulate the region’s 2017 military service academy nominees.
Students wishing to attend one of the nation’s four military service academy must receive a nomination from his or her representative, senator or the vice president. This year, 28 students were selected by a committee of community leaders to receive nominations to the Air Force Academy, Military Academy at West Point, Merchant Marine Academy and the Naval Academy.
“These students represent the best of the best of South Jersey. They are a credit to our community and our country, and whatever path they choose, I know each of them will go on to do great things.”
