As an electrician by trade, I know we are stronger as a nation when workers have fair wages, safe working conditions, and a voice in the workplace.

The best social program in the world is a good-paying job. Every worker must have an opportunity to succeed, which starts with a fair day’s pay for a hard day’s work. No one should have to work multiple jobs to provide for their family, save for retirement, or be financially secure.  

Workers deserve a safe workplace. I have been on the frontlines to ensure working conditions are safe. As an electrician I have been on the job when someone didn’t come home. Safety should come first, especially over profits. We must never take for granted the invaluable services and efforts workers make to keep our country running.
